“Many injury survivors feel they don’t get a say or that their voices get lost in the litigation process. I do the best I can to give our clients an ear to vent to and a shoulder to cry on if they need. I am passionate about helping people, especially those unable to advocate for themselves.”
Since joining the Brain & Injury Law team, I have helped many clients and their families navigate the overwhelming process of litigation. We get really involved in our clients’ lives, not just with rehab or litigation, but also personally to ensure they get the best help possible.
As a Paralegal my role is to keep clients updated about their case and provide support when needed, whether it be additional information or someone to listen to their worries and concerns. Other tasks include corresponding with doctors and defence counsel, setting up medical assessments, requesting reimbursements from ICBC, and preparing legal documents. I’m so glad to play a part in making a difference in our clients’ lives.
I have a background in social work and specialization in child welfare and development. I’m fluent in English and Vietnamese and am known around the office for my attention to detail and extreme organization – to the point of being annoying! I label everything in the office, and am constantly tidying up things (and tiding up after others). My favourite way to spend a weekend is at the beach, mall or gym. Or trying out a new restaurant!
