We provide effective, caring legal representation for survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) caused by negligence. Many of our cases are related to motor vehicle accidents, but also include injury sustained from falls, sports, or medical malpractice, as well as class action suits for those injured by the fault of others. We can assist those who have been injured in British Columbia or those who have suffered serious injury elsewhere in the world, but are B.C. residents.
We are committed to achieving maximum financial compensation for our clients, enabling survivors of traumatic brain injuries to receive the best rehabilitation and recovery opportunities. We have a history of receiving significant awards for our clients, including over 6 million dollars in compensation for a severely brain injured woman.
We are sensitive to the needs of the survivor's family, recognizing the extraordinary pressures and considerable changes that traumatic brain injuries bring to bear. We work closely with survivor families to assure that family members are able to cope with these changes, and provide assistance in securing counselors, finding support groups, and in engaging the services of other professionals whose care may help ease the strain of establishing a new lifestyle.

These experts include neurological medical professionals who provide comprehensive examination, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and expert testimony. We also work with qualified life care planners and financial experts who evaluate and project expenses and develop financial management plans, which ensure that the necessary mechanisms, such as trust funds, are set up to provide optimum financial protection and security for each survivor.
Help in gathering and interpreting information
To prepare our clients, we gather information about the survivor's medical condition and prognosis. We liaise with the care manager and members of the treatment support network to ensure that our client has all the necessary facts. We review the material with our client to ensure that he or she clearly understands the information presented. We then carefully review the options available and help to weigh the ramifications of various decisions. Finally, we walk our clients through the decision process, so that he or she feel comfortable and secure, knowing that their decisions are based on complete information and are carefully reasoned.
